Physical Info

Radegast lacks ears and a nose, a nostril-less bump is in the latter's place. The flames he's made of are extremely sensitive to the ambience, making up for it.The texture of his body is velvety. Pressing, poking and pushing yield the same result as doing so to any other creature made of flesh would. The flames change brightness, colour and temperature autonomously depending on his mood. Radegast is also able to induce these changes at will.

Shapeshifting

On seldom occasions, Radegast might temporarily shapeshift into other forms, usually creatures of smaller size. These transformations aren't flawless, and Rad would still be composed of flames. Below are some examples.

Human Form

Radegast has acquired an illusory ring, which lets him appear as a human as long as he wears it. He is still perfectly capable of utilising his flames while camouflaged, but excessive use may leave burn marks on his palms.

Origin

Radegast is a creature of mysterious origin, whose existence is tied to tales of folklore now mostly forgotten. Comparing him to a spirit would be appropriate, though, despite the two not being the same.Throughout most of his existence, Rad was a mere fire sprite floating wherever the wind brought him. Unconscious, unresponsive and oblivious about his surroundings, his brightness was merely more than that of a candle, and he could fit in someone’s palm.The more places he visited, spurred by the wind or the flow of the water, the more experiences and knowledge he would assimilate from the creatures he came across.After several centuries, his flames had grown bigger than what his current form could withstand, so he was forced to awaken and assume another, more humanoid shape. By doing so, Radegast became sentient, aware of his surroundings and capable of experiencing feelings.From that moment, Radegast never truly managed to resume his eternal slumber. Instead, he began interacting with other creatures, learning their habits and values while getting used to manoeuvring his newly acquired form.
